Fundraising Event - Association of Carers

Join Us for a Walk on the South Downs Way to Support The Association of Carers!

We are organising a special fundraising walk in aid of The Association of Carers!

Event Details:

  • Date & Time: Saturday 19th of April, meeting at 9:00 AM at The Beachy Head Pub.

  • Location: We’ll be walking part of the breathtaking South Downs Way, one of the most scenic routes in the UK.

  • Distance: Whether you want to walk a short section or take on a bigger challenge, it’s totally up to you! The walk is accessible for all fitness levels, so feel free to join us at your own pace.

  • Who Can Join: All are welcome—whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just want to enjoy a leisurely stroll with friends and family.

Why We Walk

The walk is all about raising vital funds for The Association of Carers, an incredible organization dedicated to supporting unpaid carers in our community. These amazing individuals give so much of their time and energy to care for others, and this event is our way of giving back and making sure they get the support they deserve.

Every step you take helps raise awareness and funds that go directly toward programs and services that assist carers with respite, training, and financial support.

How to Get Involved

  1. Walk with Us: Simply show up at The Beachy Head Pub by 9:00 AM, and we’ll be ready to set off on our journey. Remember, you can choose how far you want to walk, so there’s no pressure to complete the whole route if you’d prefer a shorter option.

  2. Donate: If you can’t make it to the event but still want to help, you can easily donate to our GoFundMe page. Every contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful difference for carers who rely on The Association of Carers.

Let’s Make a Difference Together!

This is a fantastic chance to not only take in some fresh air and breathtaking views, but to also make a tangible impact on the lives of those who need it most. So, whether you're walking, donating, or simply spreading the word, your support means the world.

We hope to see you there on Saturday 19th of April! Let’s take steps together to show our support for carers everywhere.
